If you're a blog reader (which I assume you are), you'll know that it's NaBloPoMo, which means a lot of bloggers are posting every day. Suddenly the numbers on some of the blogs on my GoogleReader are increasing quickly, as my favourite bloggers pick up speed.
It's November 5 now and it's a bit late for me to join in with this, though I have been thinking it over for the past couple of days. In the spirit of which, I decided to take a look, for the first time, at the NaBloPoMo website - and discovered that it's the National Blog Posting Month. Which lets me off the hook, as I don't belong to that nation.
Maybe I should start a Global Blog Posting Month.
(If you notice me posting every day, you'll know that I have.) (And I'll have to do four extras, to make up for the days I missed.)
Uh, yeah, it's sort of embarrassing, that.
I think GloBloPoMo sounds better, anyway. They stole the Na from NaNoWriMo, which had its own Na problem but also a different vowel rhythm than NaBloPoMo.
I can't believe I've started dissecting this mashed up "word" now. Arrrrrr!
