Okay, you've had some time to read through the very first Carnival of Feminists. Personal Political will be hosting the second carnival on Wednesday November 2nd. That's next week. So it's time to get the nominations rolling in. You can nominate something you've written yourself and/or something you've read. Because the carnival is still new, I'm going to accept nominations from the entire month of October - once the carnival gets into its rhythm, I'm sure most of the material will come from the intervening two weeks. Posts should also be more than a collection of links, and include substantial original content.
The carnival aims to showcase the finest feminist posts from around the blogosphere. As you can tell from reading entries in the first edition, 'feminist' has a broad definition and subjects can range from the very personal to the traditionally political - and anything in between. So don't write your own personal musings off as "not political or feminist enough". But there should be some sense that a post addresses women's place in the world.
So, for the second edition, please send nominations now! You can email me on susoz.au (at) gmail (dot) com. And please put 'carnival' in the subject line.
And even if you don't want to self-nominate, have a read through your blogroll (or someone else's) and send links to posts that you think deserve to be more widely read.
