Gary Younge of The Guardian has written a powerful piece about Iraq (and Vietnam) which elaborates on some of the points I raised in my LP post. And sure enough the rightwing comments which follow it try to blame everyone but the invaders for what's going on in Iraq. As Younge puts it, they try to make the victim responsible for the crime.
